Application Recommendations
For One Acre
• 35 cubic yards will cover to a depth of 1/4"
• 65 cubic yards will cover to a depth of 1/2"
• 130 cubic yards will cover to a depth of 1"
• 196 cubic yards will cover to a depth of 1 1/2"
* Studies conducted by UF and FDOT, for use of compost on roadside landscaping projects, found that compost application rates proved to be beneficial at about 45 cubic yards per acre.
